THE SEMINAR

THE CLUB, IN THE ROOM

Closed. Expert. Off script.

There are things your profession never taught you. Not because they are unimportant. Because nobody thought to include them.

The codes that move through every room you walk into. Every dinner you sit down to. Every conversation you have spent years learning to read, and still sometimes miss.

This is what The Seminar is for.

The Seminar — a private room overlooking the Mediterranean sea, dark wood oval table set for a GWC seminar with open books, wine glasses, notebooks and draped jackets

The Format

One to two days. A small closed group. A private space chosen because it belongs to the experience, not the other way around.

No conference room. No projector. No slides handed out at the door. No agenda distributed in advance. B.B. designs the programme around your group, selects the experts, and builds the days from scratch.

Weekdays or Weekend. Six to twelve people. Available to a limited number of groups per year.

Flat lay of seminar materials on marble surface - open notebook with handwritten notes, leather notebook, tea set, fountain pen, chess pawn and silk scarf - The Seminar at The GentleWomen Club

The Programme

The subjects are drawn from the six GWC territories: The Kit, The Vault, The Room, The Table, The Game, The Health. One or two territories, selected by B.B. for your group. Not an overview. A working session. The rest surface through conversation, through the table, through the people in the room.

Each subject is led by a specialist. A sommelier. A watchmaker. A strategist. A chef. A doctor. Someone who has spent years inside that world and knows how to open it up for someone standing at the door.

No homework. No performance expected. The kind of learning that does not feel like learning.

The Group

Doctors, lawyers, bankers, consultants, architects, diplomats, senior executives, founders. People who have spent years mastering one world and know, quietly, that there are others worth understanding.

Professional development that does not look like professional development. For many participants, eligible as a deductible professional expense.

Available in English and French.

The Setting

Spain first. A finca outside Madrid. A private address in Menorca or Mallorca. A terrace above the sea.

Each location is chosen for what it removes as much as what it offers. No lobby. No other guests. No conference floor two levels down. A place with its own rhythm, where the only agenda is yours.

Worth the journey. For those who prefer to convene closer to home, GWC organises across Europe: Geneva, Brussels, Paris, Luxembourg, Oslo.

The venue is not a backdrop. It is part of the programme.
